Happy 1st birthday Trixie🎉

Trixies one! How?
Was up late putting up banners and blowing up balloons then up early to open presents!
Unfortunately Darren couldn't get back to be here for Trixies birthday but I made sure she had an amazing day regardless.
Lili helped open presents, seemed never ending.
Playgroup surprised us with a birthday party and had me in tears. Massive thanks to Lucy for telling her the girls.
Left playgroup to see Nana G then to my mam and dad's to open presents, took them home and got Lili from school then went to the fun house and then back to my mam and dad's for birthday cake. Massive thank you to Sarah OBrien for the cake.

We were all wiped after our day of fun we fell asleep pretty early.

Happy 8th birthday Lili

As if my tiny baby is 8! She had a fun morning of opening presents and wowing over everything. Then we all went to Scarborough for the sea life centre. Took sandwiches and pop and some snacks for the journey and the walk about and the journey back but came home with alot uneaten.
2 hours on the bus there wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, both kids were really well behaved and we had lots of fun.
Got off the bus at the bus station and had to find out where to go from there, lovely half hour walk was fun, all down hill, pointed out possible B&Bs to stay at if we ever came again for the weekend. Got a touch lost when we got there looking for the entrance  as there was lots of paths off the main path, found it and paid in, luckily had some money off vouchers so saved a bit of money, bought an activity pack for Lili.
Kids loved seeing the fish, walking with the penguins and watching the seals laze about, walked through the seal rehab centre and saw a baby seal, Lili wanted to take it home with her she was in love. Watched sharks swim over our heads and marvelled at the size of some of the crabs.
On the way round we filled in a lego treasure hunt form looking for the scuba divers lost gear, we found all the pieces and took the form to the play room to get our very own lego diver character! Thankfully we done 2 forms so the kids got a diver each, both went into Lilis lego box anyway.
After we left sealife we went to the Scalby Mill pub up the road, amazing little place and highly recommended, food was amazing and very large portions and they couldn't be more welcoming if they tried.
Lovely but tiring walk back to the bus station this time up hill, stopped at the cemetery for a sit down and a well needed breather. The bus home seemed twice as long but we finally got home!
We had told Lili on the morning that since we were going out for the day she couldn't have a cake, but was surprised with a gorgeous homemade pikachu cake courtesy of Sarah O'brien. Lili loved it, blew out her musical candle, then we smashed said candle up in the yard when we realised we couldn't make it shut up.
