The shopping centres usually have lots of activities on during school holidays and they didn't disappoint on Halloween day.
Captain Cook Square held a zombie hand craft (popcorn in a plastic glove with red stickers for nails) and a pirate trail to find the the lost gold (they had someone professional taking photos which they uploaded to the Facebook page so I'll include some of those below). The kids had lots of fun following the captain.
The Hill Street Centre had an owl, snakes, spiders and bugs to see and a Halloween picture trail with the prize at the end being a tub of sweets.
Then back to mine for tea and to get changed to go Halloweening.
This was Trixies first year going out and she was super excited! So much so she fell over her feet and bucket so many times I had to give her a bag of sweets and strap her in the pram to stop her hurting herself too badly. I was emptying their buckets into bags to stop them eating loads of sweets and to stop them dropping sweets coz of full buckets (this happens every year and the thought to grab a bag to empty the buckets into never occurs so they lose sweets) so they each had nearly full bags and a few pounds
