We had such as amazing Christmas dispute the lack of sleep because Trixie had a bad night.
Lili was buzzing with her laptop and Trixie didn't know where to look first. Food was amazing, we were very merry by the time we ate, spent half hour trying to turn off the smoke alarms(smoke hadn't even reached the passage or stairs) to remember they are wired into the main electric circuits so Darren disconnected them completely.
The kids got far too much especially after doing more presents with my parents.
Whilst Darren took a nap I helped the kids unbox all their toys and ripped apart all the boxes to fit better in the bins, checked all batteries and tidied away a bit to give more room to play, kids went to bed a bit later but were definitely tired as they were asleep pretty quickly.
