Christmas light switch on 2019
We enjoyed ourselves tonight, We had a wander around town, Lili spent her pocket money on It chapter 1 and a bag of sweets, then We went to Mcdonalds for tea, on the way we stopped and bought some light up wands from one of the vendors, the kids loved them. After we had finished eating we went to Centre Square and paid far too much on some rides, one of which Lili became a little dizzy and sick as soon as it stopped she jumped off leaving Trixie on her own, Trixie got off the seat and stood on the soaking wet floor in just socks so We had to do a mad dash through town for socks, poundshop (which was the first and closest shop We came to) only had adult socks in, so grabbed a 2 pack and put both pairs on her up to her hips. We bumped into Jayne and Tye, Nana, Jodie, Jenson, Gracie and Sonnie and we walked back over to Centre Square, we watched some of the acts on stage but we couldn't get a good enough view being too far back, Trixie started fussing so I got her out of the pram and put her up on my shoulders, she sat nicely and was quiet. Finally at 7.45 the countdown began to put the lights on and fire works were set off, Trixie isn't a fan of fireworks and cried, asking to go into her pram with her blanket, we had a laugh at her curled up, hood pulled right down over her face and the blanket pulled up over her face. Think everyone was glad to be going home, both kids out for the count as soon as they got home and changed.

Addams family 2019
This movie was well anticipated by Lili she loves Halloween and anything scary and she chose to dress as Wednesday and Trixie as Pubert when Trixie was a few weeks old.
The movie was actually pretty good for an animation, gave a good story to the background of the family and the end credits song is pretty catchy.

Halloween fun 2019
The shopping centres usually have lots of activities on during school holidays and they didn't disappoint on Halloween day.
Captain Cook Square held a zombie hand craft (popcorn in a plastic glove with red stickers for nails) and a pirate trail to find the the lost gold (they had someone professional taking photos which they uploaded to the Facebook page so I'll include some of those below). The kids had lots of fun following the captain.
The Hill Street Centre had an owl, snakes, spiders and bugs to see and a Halloween picture trail with the prize at the end being a tub of sweets.
Then back to mine for tea and to get changed to go Halloweening.
This was Trixies first year going out and she was super excited! So much so she fell over her feet and bucket so many times I had to give her a bag of sweets and strap her in the pram to stop her hurting herself too badly. I was emptying their buckets into bags to stop them eating loads of sweets and to stop them dropping sweets coz of full buckets (this happens every year and the thought to grab a bag to empty the buckets into never occurs so they lose sweets) so they each had nearly full bags and a few pounds

Preston park - half term 2019
We chose today to go to Preston park as they had both the owls (they were there everyday) and the giant tortoise, snakes, other reptiles and bugs.
We went into the museum first as it was quite early and saw the reptiles and bugs first Trixie was amazed at them and Lili encouraged her to touch them. They didn't want to join the rather long queue to hold a snake and have photos taken so we went and joined the queue for the owls at the back of the victoriana street instead. Lili held the snowy owl named Hedwig and Trixie for the first time held an owl named Pigwidgeon, she loved it! Then we had a wander around the walled gardens and then the museum where we done the yoga trail and then went and done the crafts, they made spooky ghosts and were given capes to wear, then into the park to burn some energy before we went home. We must have burned so much energy we couldn't be bothered cooking and ordered a pizza shop instead and nothing was left.
