Trixie-Maize

Trixie was born 16th October 2017 at 8.09pm weighing in at 5lb 9oz. She isn't cleft affected and is loved all round by everyone. She's been the light of Lilis life since we told her she was finally getting a baby (she's only been asking since she was 2).
They are trouble together, I absolutely can't keep up with them. Once they have a plan in mind I can't stop them. I'm so grateful that lili has took to being a big sister the way she has, she's like a little mother hen. And it's built her confidence too.
From the moment trixie opens her eyes all she shouts is Lil, they both spent 20 minutes crying one night they couldn't sleep together, absolutely heartbroken they had to be separated. I just love their bond.

2019

I honestly have been so swamped, I've struggled to keep up with everything.
So Lili is 8, in year 3 and doing so well.
We've now also got a very naughty but gorgeous little baby girl.. More toddler-she's 20 months old, we named her Trixie-Maize.
Lili has took to being a big sister like a star, honestly don't know what I'd do without her some days, she's so hands on and helpful.
Lili just a few months ago was measured and fitted with a false palate, it's removable and barely noticeable. It took a few weeks for her to get used to wearing it, now she eats with it in and she regularly forgets its there and sleeps with it in so I have to check she's taken it out. It's improved her speech some, we are waiting on her speech assessment with Speech and language to see what improvements needs making and how, also to check that there's no air escape as Lili says there's a small gap in the back. But overall there's some improvement and her confidence has improved alot too because of it.

Quick update on Me and Darren, we broke up the last Saturday in April 2018. It was a long time coming and we are both happier for it. No one was happy and the kids didn't need to be that kind of environment. Darren has a lovely new girlfriend. She seems nice enough. Hopefully we could be friends, who knows.

ANOTHER UPDATE!

A lot has gone since I last updated, Lilis now in year 1

her speech as come on in leaps and bounds, her SLT graduated her from lessons in March as she's done so well there's nothing that she can advance Lili onto until year 2. We've had absolutely no bullying this year which is brilliant, Lilis really come out of her shell this year, even her friends mams have commented on it.

Christmas was lovely, again we cooked far too much food and make pigs of ourselves. Had leftovers and party food boxing day, still too much food so we made pigs of ourselves again.

Had a lovely quiet new years.

We found out we're pregnant at the beginning of march, Lili wasn't in the least bit happy when we told her but has come around it now, just waiting on a scan date. We're so excited!!!
